So we all know that a blue Harlequin is not a acceptable show color here in the US. I found a blue Harlequin named Bono being shown in Australia. I find this to be very exciting! I would love to see all the colors accepted for showing. I feel like we should be looking more at conformation, temperament and health than at color. I understand that breeding certain colors together can result in puppies with health problems (harlequin X harlequin or merle X merle or merle X harlequin or fawnequin or blue harl) So we don't need to breed those colors together to still get all the gorgeous colors in our puppies. I would love to see them all accepted. The focus of breeding so often gets to be just on color and color pure lines that a lot of these dogs lose out on conformation and temperament as well as health. Anyways I thought it was pretty cool to see Bono's info.
